Aldi Expands with Two Planned Locations

Aldi continues to grow its presence in Virginia with two additional Northern Virginia locations currently in the works. One store is planned for the former Bed Bath & Beyond space in the Tysons area, while another is proposed for Stafford's Market at Austin Ridge.

Known for its affordable grocery selection, the German retailer already operates around 75 stores across Virginia and continues to expand its footprint throughout the region.

Sprouts Farmers Market Heads to Arlington

Arlington shoppers can expect a new Sprouts Farmers Market, with the store targeting a September opening on Langston Boulevard.

The location will occupy the building formerly used by Giant, which closed in 2024. Sprouts is recognized for its focus on organic foods, giving residents another option for fresh and specialty grocery items.

Staples Grocery Company Brings a Different Shopping Experience

Staples Grocery Company offers more than a traditional grocery trip. In addition to pantry staples and freshly baked goods, the store also features sit-down dining and a wine bar, creating a market experience that goes beyond grocery shopping.

The store officially opened in May in the space previously occupied by Roots 657.

Teso Life Continues Its Northern Virginia Growth

After opening its first Northern Virginia location in Centreville last year, Teso Life is preparing to add two more stores to the region.

The Asian department store carries a wide assortment of products, including international snacks and food items. New locations are planned for Sugarland Crossing in Sterling and Springfield Plaza.
